The exhibition in the gallery of Königshain Castle takes place as part of the handover of first part of the Collection of Concrete Art to the Foundation for Art and Culture of Upper Lusatia and the Görlitz Collections for History and Culture.
The exhibition will be open from March 22 to May 23, 2026

Outlines of Presence
Outlines of Presence is the third exhibition by the A2 Group, a group of artists using the language of geometry. The concept of "language of geometry" was coined by Bożena Kowalska (1930-2023), an art critic, curator of exhibitions and important collections of contemporary art, and founder and mentor of the International Group of Artists Using the Language of Geometries, whom she invited to annual symposia and plein-air workshops. These legendary meetings began in 1983 and continued until 2018. The symposia were a forum for international artistic and theoretical exchange, discussion, and mutual inspiration. It was in the atmosphere of these meetings in Radziejowice that the A2 Group was formed, bringing together artists from various cities in Poland. A2 members include Tamara Berdowska, Daniel Cybulski, Karolina Hałatek, Mateusz Dąbrowski, Karolina Jaklewicz, Łukasz Leszczyński, Michał Misiak, Dariusz Mlącki, Leszek Oprządek, Tomasz Saciłowski, and Olga Ząbroń.

On the Limits of Perception
The exhibition presents works that are special primarily because of their impact on our perception, our visual system. The exhibition is based on visual solutions that push our stimulus threshold and on visual solutions that question or contradict our habitual visual experience, creating a paradoxical sensation. We plan to offer a small international insight, focusing on the distinctive representatives of the theme, mainly from contemporary concrete and progressive tendencies.

Geometry of Emotion
The exhibition „Geometry of Emotion” is ongoing at the GDM gallery in Ostrava. The exhibition consists of works by representatives of Polish abstraction.
